Ronald Rogers

I was born and reared in Olney. I graduated from Olney High School in 1978 and then attended Texas Tech University. I earned a degree in Petroleum Engineering and then moved to Midland, Texas to work for an oil company. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to return home to Olney in 1989 and to work in the family business, Rogers Drilling Company. I currently work as an oil and gas producer with six other employees in our local business.

I married my high school sweetheart, Melody Myers, in 1982. Together, we reared four children in Olney where we were blessed to share life with extended family and friends. Our children are married and have enriched our lives with the joy of grandchildren. We have five grandkids currently and are expecting three additional grandkids in 2019.

Olney is my home, and I am thankful to share this community with many friends and family. Hamilton Hospital is a critical part of the community. The doctors and staff serve our healthcare needs well, and they contribute to the community’s sense of vitality and success. I count my association with the hospital as an honor and privilege, and I look forward to the hospital’s continuing service to our community.
