Community Health Fair 2012 planned on Saturday

Information booths, free cholesterol screenings and more will be offered as part of the annual Community Health Fair, planned for 7-11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, 2012 at the Olney Civic Center.
This year’s event is sponsored by Hamilton Hospital, who hope to exhibit their commitment by helping provide healthcare to the community and surrounding areas. Cholesterol screenings will be offered at no charge. Anyone who wants to have a screening should remember to have nothing to eat or drink 12 hours prior to the blood draw. Carotid doppler screenings will start at 9 a.m., and flu vaccines will be available for $20. The Hamilton Hospital Auxiliary will host the hospitality room, with refreshments provided by Brazos Telephone and Fort Belknap Electric Co-op. The Olney Retired Teachers will be at the front door to register attendees for door prizes, which will be given away throughout the event.
The fair will host more than 40 booths offering information, prize drawings and more.
