Dr. James Stanley is a board certified orthopedic surgeon and fellowship-trained spine surgeon specializing in the treatment of cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine, using a multidisciplinary approach.
A native Texan, Dr. Stanley received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin in 1992 and received his medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 1996. Dr. Stanley performed his general surgery internship and orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Oklahoma, where his sports rotations were spent providing on field and training room evaluation and treatment for the Sooner athletic programs. He then completed a fellowship in spine at Brown University in 2002, which included providing spine consultation coverage for the athletic programs at Brown.
His areas of interest include minimally invasive spine surgery, trauma, osteoporotic fractures and disc replacement.
In his spare time, Dr. Stanley enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 children
